After dark, you choose how your courtyard sounds. A 450 L/hr pump you dial from a trickle to a full sheet — and at 25 dB you don't hear the pump, only the water.

Nine o'clock, and nobody has drifted inside yet.

That one corner of the courtyard finally looks finished.

You sit down after a rough day and the water does the rest.

No plumber, no project, no weekend disappearing into it.

FAQs

What is it actually going to sound like?

A steady sheet rather than a splash, closer to rainfall than a tap. The 450 L/hr pump is adjustable, so you set it: a soft trickle indoors, or opened right up for the courtyard. At 25 dB the pump itself adds nothing.

Will the pump last, or is this a one-summer thing?

Two years — at least double what the category quotes on a pump, where six to twelve months is normal. And there's a 30-day money-back window if you decide it isn't for you, refunded in full.

Will it look like plastic in the flesh?

It is polyresin, not stone. The slate texture is applied by hand, so depth and pattern differ piece to piece rather than repeating off a mould, which is what gives the cheap ones away at arm's length.

How much topping up does it actually need?

The 9 L reservoir runs three to four days between top-ups and fills from a watering can. In a hot spell check it weekly. Like any water feature it will go green if it sits still in full sun, so keep it running.

Will it breed mozzies?

Generally the opposite. Mosquitoes need still, stagnant water to breed, and independent guidance treats moving water as a control measure rather than a cause. A fountain that is running is doing that work.

Who am I actually buying from?

Bakyard, an Australian business holding this in our Sydney and Melbourne warehouses. Orders are dispatched within 24 hours and land in 2-5 days. It is not coming off a boat six weeks from now.

Can I run it somewhere quiet, like a bedroom?

Yes, and that is what the adjustable flow is for. Turned down it is a trickle, and with the pump at 25 dB there is no motor hum underneath it. It is rated for indoor use as well as outdoor.

Where does it plug in?

It runs on mains power, so it needs a power point within reach of the cord. Most people run it off an existing outdoor point. There is nothing to wire and nothing to plumb.

Why is it $249?

$249 buys the 450 L/hr adjustable pump and the 9 L reservoir — the two parts that decide whether a water feature still runs in three summers. It beats buying a cheap one twice.

The nine o'clock reason to stay outside.
Lit from the top of the drop to the bottom, with the flow set wherever you want it. A courtyard worth standing in after dark, not just one that looks good in daylight.

Dial it to the room

An adjustable 450 L/hr pump takes it from a bedroom trickle to a full courtyard sheet.

The pump you never hear

Rated at 25 dB, so the only sound this fountain makes is the water coming down it.

Lit from top to bottom

Warm LEDs run the full height of the drop, so the sheet still reads as water after dark.

Slate you can stand close to

Polyresin under a slate texture applied by hand, so the pattern differs on every piece.

Nine litres between top-ups

A 9 L reservoir runs three to four days at a stretch, so summer is not a daily chore.

Fills from a watering can

Recirculates the same water, so there is no plumbing, no tap and no outlet to cut in.

Mum thought it was granite

Had it outside for 6 months through summer storms & still looks brand new. The stone effect is so realistic my mum thought it was real granite lol…

Should've bought this first

Upgraded from a cheap $80 fountain that broke after 3 months. This is in a different league! No more daily refills or annoying pump noise. Should've just bought this first & saved myself the headache

Only the water

Was super worried about noise complaints from neighbors but you honestly can't hear the pump at all! Just lovely water sounds. Even use it in my bedroom sometimes for white noise. So peaceful!

Every few days, not daily

Was worried about constant refilling after reading reviews of other fountains but this thing holds heaps of water! Only top it up every few days even in 35° heat. Way less hassle than expected tbh
