So far we have completed 1 tumbler/polish sequence and the results are great. Stones are nice and smooth plus the finish shine is very good especially after a very light coating of mineraloid. I order to get a feel for what would happen we used stones we picked up in various places as a test batch. I notice many reviews say the tumbler is very noisy but ours is running in the kitchen and is barely noticed when in the room with it. We will be ordering a second tumbler as a gift for a nephew.
The tumbler is excellent, pretty quiet, and works really well. No complaints though this is my first one so I have nothing to compare it to, but hey, its very inexpensive and it works really well!
